The 13th annual Australian Beer Festival returns to The Rocks this weekend (Sydney)

Long known as one of Sydney’s most anticipated celebrations of beer and cider, the Australian Beer Festival is making its way back to The Australian Heritage Hotel in The Rocks for two-and-a-half days of partying driven by the country’s best brewers. Kicking off on Friday 13th and wrapping up Sunday 15th October, the festival will take over Cumberland and Gloucester streets, bringing the historic area to life with more than 30 different Australian breweries, gourmet food stalls (think fresh oysters and pizza), meet the brewer sessions, blind tastings, and live entertainment.

More than 120 Australian beers and ciders will be highlighted throughout the festival, where guests are able to pick up tokens at entry and exchange them for their favorite brews. Breweries on display this year include Batch Brewing, 4 Pines Beer, Grifter Brewing, Modus Operandi, Pirate Life Brewing, Feral Brewing Company, Murray’s Craft Brewing Co, and Balter Brewing.

Tickets to the annual Australian Beer Festival are now on sale for $35. Ticket price includes a tasting cup and 10 tasting tokens.
