Streets Ice Cream have stepped up their game with the Golden Gaytime Sanga

Ditching the stick, ice-cream favourite Golden Gaytime has now been transformed into sandwich form with the Golden Gaytime Sanga. Streets Ice Cream announced the new release earlier this year, taking the next step in the ongoing Golden Gaytime craze by giving us what is essentially a Maxibon version of the nationally treasured dairy gem.

Described by Streets as “a more streamlined, tactile ice cream”, the Gaytime Sanga features an ergonomic shape (no doubt carefully designed by the world’s top ice cream engineers) that fits the human hand comfortably while the flavour profile is ramped up by “improved crumb technology”. The result is an ice cream sanga with half featuring a smooth polygonal shape to allow for a higher crumb density, while the other half is Gaytime’s intensely flavoured ice cream between two soft, golden biscuit pieces.

“It’s not often you get to create snacking history, and with the launch of Sanga, we couldn’t be prouder”, said Marketing Manager Scott Mingl. “We know Aussies love a Gaytime and we know they love a sandwich, so why not give them something they’d go nuts over. Sanga is the future of snacking for everyone who has had a Gaytime, remembers a Gaytime or simply loves a Gaytime”.

The Golden Gaytime Sanga is now available across Australia for an RRP of $3.50.
