Reynold Poernomo offers special Ferrero Rocher dessert for Christmas at KOI (Sydney)

In just a few weeks renowned dessert chef and new Christmas ambassador for Ferrero Rocher, Reynold Poernomo will be celebrating his Sydney based KOI Dessert Bar being open for a year. What has now become a Kensington Street staple opened late last year and has since become a platform for Poernomo’s inventive approach to desserts, a highly sought after after-dinner spot and the new location for a limited edition Ferrero Rocher dessert, being offered up until Christmas.

Reynold has developed a series of six recipes inspired by the well known nutty chocolate treat, letting Australians know that these adaptable truffles can be used in creative ways. One of these recipes is The Rocher Delight, which is the limited edition dessert being offered out of the KOI, a triple-layered cake with crunchy almond sable, salted caramel and hazelnut ganache, and three Ferrero Rocher balls sitting on top with a gold leaf.

The wondrous dessert will be available for $12 each day 10am-10pm or until sold out, right up to and including Christmas Eve. Koi Dessert Bar is located at 6 Kensington St, Chippendale NSW.
