Melbourne’s popular Piccolina Gelateria opens new store in St Kilda

Just in time for the summer months to come and drive Melbourne’s locals towards St Kilda beach, Piccolina Gelateria have unveiled a new store on nearby Aceland Street. Marking the third store for the business, often referred to as the best gelataria in the city, the new space channels the surrounding street scape and the beach for a bright beachside vibe blende with echoes of 1950s Italy, distinguishing it from the other two stores – Hawthorn and Collingwood – though still staying true to what made Piccolina so treasured amongst locals.

Freshly made gelato and granita will of course be the prime focus, displayed on the beautiful servery bench clad in square-cut Italian tiles and traditional pozzetti cabinets holding 20 gelato flavours and 4 granita flavours. That includes the signature gelato like “Better Than Nutella”, “Passionfruit”, “Choc Brownie”, and a few weekly specials.

And don’t worry Piccolina fans; they haven’t forgotten the home-made Nutella sauce fountain which will be running all day as the store operates from 12pm to 11pm each day.

Address: 137 Acland Street St Kilda
