Krispy Kreme update range with classic American flavours including “Big Apple Pie” and “Campire S’Mores”

Ubiquitous doughnut purveyors Krispy Kreme are mixing up their new range of American Classic flavours with their love of 1950’s tunes, even drawing inspiration from vintage jukeboxes with the creation of a new type of limited-edition box, one which comes with a built-in Bluetooth speaker. Serenading your doughnuts is acceptable.

Spotify have provided the brand with exclusive playlists and some original tunes to flip their love of doughnuts into a bygone era, soundtracking one’s experience with the new flavours of “The Big Apple Pie”, “Peanut Butter Jelly Time”, “Coconut Cream Pie”, and “Campfire S’mores”.

White chocolate truffle icing is caked on top of the Peanut Butter Jelly Time, a hint of cinnamon spices up The Big Apple Pie with biscuit latte crust to finish it off, melted marshmellow is stuffed inside the Campfire S’mores, and a tropical flavour defines the Coconut Cream Pie, iced in white chocolate truffle and dipped in shredded coconut. In the face of some massive competition in Sydney lately, Krispy Kreme have sure picked the right time to switch up their style.

“Our inspiration behind the four new flavours was American vintage with a modern twist. We’ve been working with songwriters and Spotify to make sure it’s not only the taste buds which are in for a treat…but the ears too. You can not only taste the Classics, but hear them as well”, said CEO of Krispy Kreme Australia, Andrew McGuigan

The tunes are also available at www.krispyclassics.com, where doughnut lovers can also enter to win some of these limited-edition jukeboxes. The new American Classics range is available at all Krispy Kreme stores across NSW, VIC, QLD, and WA.
