Huxtaburger is making its Sydney debut with $1 burgers this week

I guess you can call Huxtaburger a pioneering business. The Melbourne-born burger joint first popped onto the scene in 2011, long before the burger boom that has since seen – in particular – Sydney and Melbourne become two of the best cities in the world for burger lovers. Though unlike some others, Huxtaburger’s popularity has never ceased, remaining consistent despite strong competition. That’s probably why they have seven stores in Melbourne now, and as of this week they can add one Sydney store to their belt.

That’s right, the cult burger joint is finally making it’s big Sydney debut, opening up a permanent store on Refern’s Regent Street. They’ll be bringing up their full menu, which means the signature Huxtaburger will sit alongside other options like breakfast burgers, chicken burgers, lamb burgers, vegan burgers, and even ice cream burgers.

Huxtaburger Redfern will have its grand opening this Saturday 15th September, and staying true to their opening-celebration schtick, they’ll be slinging $1 Huxtaburgers (vegetarians can swap out the beef for a veggie patty) all day. Yeah, you read that right: one god damn dollar.

Needless to say, you should rock up early if you want in on the action.
