Sydney’s Impressed Recordings are making noise for Record Store Day

Sydney’s boutique record store, Impressed Recordings are going all out at this Saturday’s Record Store Day in their Woolloomooloo Music Hub. Highlights include an exclusive collaboration with Merch Jungle, in-store performances from Maddy Jane and Loose Content as well as beverages from Heaps Normal.

Merch Jungle is Australia’s leading concert merchandise provider, so expect some limited edition merch and vinyls from Australian artists including Weyes Blood, Wednesday, MJ Lenderman, Hiatus Kiayote and more. It’s worth noting that Impressed Recordings sold out of Wednesday’s live album recently. You may not get all the RSD releases here, but you will be assured of getting some great exclusives.

The store are celebrating with a heap of discounts, including a raft of 7″ records for $10, there are $20 EP’s, single LP’s start at $30 and double albums from $40. There’s a door prize on the day for anyone spending over $100 – which is a test pressing of your choice from the Impressed catalogue.

The store is open all day on Saturday 12th April from 8am, with live music from Indie star Maddy Jane and Melbourne’s dynamic trio Loose Content. They’ve just released their dynamic EP,  Costumes, so if you haven’t seen them live before, do yourself a proverbial favour. To quench your thirst while grooving to the vibes, Heaps Normal brewery have you covered with their zero% beer.

It’s great to see Australian Independent labels such as Impressed Recordings thriving and truly becoming part of our music community.
