The Sydney Fish Market return with their 36 Hour Seafood Marathon

Whether it’s shucked oysters, king prawns, fresh fish or lobster that tickle your seafood fancy, the annual 36-Hour Seafood Marathon at the Sydney Fish Market returns right on time for Christmas. With non-stop seafood available from 5:00am Wednesday, 23 December, through to 5:00pm on Christmas Eve, the marathon will also include a variety of premium cut meats, fresh fruit and veg, gourmet deli produce, kitchenware and much more.

COVID-safe measures will remain in place and will include QR code registration, temperature testing and 1.5m apart social distancing. Online pre-orders and home deliveries will be available throughout the lead up and during the marathon.

“While we want to make sure that everyone gets their Christmas seafood supplies, it is also incredibly important to us that we are able to do this within a COVID safe environment. We’ve been planning for this event for many months now to ensure this is the case, however we ask our customers to bring their patience as well as their Christmas cheer while the Sydney Fish Market team and NSW Police look to get shoppers in and out safely, promptly, and of course, with plenty of fresh seafood in tow,” says Sydney Fish Market CEO, Greg Dyer.

The Marathon will be held at the Sydney Fish Market on Bank Street, Pyrmont, NSW 2009. Running from 5:00am on Wednesday, 23 December, through to 5:00pm on Thursday, 24 December.
