McDonalds now has a KitKat McFlurry on its Australian menu

Fast food fans are going to have a field day today as McDonalds had added a genuine KitKat McFlurry to the dessert menu. And it’s really as simple as it sounds, taking crunched-up flecks of KitKat and imbibing it into the classic Maccas ice cream dessert, then capping it with a wave of hot chocolate fudge.

Maccas will also be throwing a KitKat Frappe on the menu for those who’d rather a blended ice chocolate drink with whipped cream. But if you’re going for one, you may as well complemented it with the other.

The move follows what seems like a renewed love of the ever-present wafer biscuit, seeing as Sydney just got its very own KitKat Chocolatory this month, gifting the CBD a store that features a seemingly endless assortment of flavour iterations and a dedicated KitKat dessert menu, as well as the ability to make-your-own block.

The KitKat McFlurry and KitKat Frappe will be available for a limited time at Maccas nationwide from 22nd July.
