The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been announced and is out now

If the leaks weren’t enough to paint a decent picture, Bethesda has officially announced The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

The best part? It’s out right now, on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, as well as Game Pass.

The standard edition of the game is available for A$84.85, but it’s worth mentioning this will include all story expansions from the original. There is a Deluxe Edition available for A$99.95, which will include a few bonus quests, cosmetic DLC, the official soundtrack and a digital art book.

While it’s labelled as a remaster in the title, this is pretty much a complete remake, built in Unreal Engine 5, running at 4K and in 60 FPS on all the aforementioned platforms. Overall lip syncing has been updated, along with updated and improved third-person gameplay.

We will provide a full review of the game in the coming days, so stay tuned.
