Award-winning venue, Mounties at Mt Pritchard, has launched their second new restaurant for the venue with Jumbo Seafood. After the success of Modern Australian restaurant, The Oven last September, Chinese restaurant, Jumbo Seafood brings to the menu authentic Asian-inspired dishes.
“We listened to our members who have hinted for a long time that a greater seafood offering should be available at Mounties, but we didn’t want to stop there – we wanted to make sure what we went with was unique and really exemplified everything we are about,” says Dale Hunt, Mounties Group CEO.
On the menu, restaurateur Jordan Wu, who’s worked with The Pearl Asian Eating House at Kogarah Club House will explore traditional flavours blended with modern twists. An abundance of seafood inspired dishes will be available such as live lobsters, coral trout, barramundi, crabs and abalone.
“When we spoke to Jordan, he really excited us with his ideas and how he wanted the restaurant to look, feel and operate. Asian cuisine is synonymous with rich spices, powerful flavours and unique ingredients. We are certain our members and guests are going to love it.”
With vibrant colours and exotic flavours, Jumbo Seafood Restaurant will be open seven days a week for yum cha and a la carte lunch and dinner.
