EggSlut’s Alvin Cailan leads new Potts Point pop up “Iconic Burger”

To celebrate the fact that online platform The Burger Collective is now doing delivery – TBC Delivery (it’s like your favourite delivery service, but only with burgers) – celeb chef Alvin Cailan has decided to open a new Potts Point pop-up called Iconic Burger.

Kicking off on the 17th March for 3 weeks only, the pop-up will be an ode to some of the most famous burgers of all time, translated from pop culture and turned into honest, juicy, fatty burgers. And yes, if Pulp Fiction has sprung to mind, you have some damn good intuition – one of those burgers will be The Royale (angus beef patty, double American cheddar, diced white onion, pickles, Golden State mustard, mayo, seeded milk bun).

Other burgers on the menu including a Breaking Bad (and New Mexico) inspired burger, a Krusty Burger (the inspiration is obvious there), and The Krabby Patty – an ode to Spongebob.

Cailan, best known for founding Eggslut, has taken these four pop culture burgers and built them to launch the delivery app. Of course, they’ll be available on the app, alongside other Sydney favourites like Burger Point, Super Nash, Chubbs, Wingmill, Burger Patch, Double Shot, Burger Head, Chef’s Kitchen, and Cheatday.

TBC Delivery are promising to have the least expensive prices of any third party delivery app, with a flat rate of $7.50. More information about The Burger Collective can be found here.

You can either rock up to the physical pop-up on Kings Cross Road, or order the burgers through The Burger Collective’s new delivery app.
