The nominees for the 66th Annual TV WEEK Logie Awards have been unveiled, celebrating another year of Australian television across drama, comedy, entertainment, news, sport and reality programming, with Prime Video emerging as the most-nominated streaming service of 2026.
Prime Video’s Australian Originals slate secured an impressive 11 nominations across three productions – The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Deadloch Season 2 and Top End Bub – reinforcing the platform’s growing influence in Australia’s television landscape.
Leading the charge is The Narrow Road to the Deep North, which received six nominations including Best Miniseries, Best Lead Actor in a Drama for Jacob Elordi, Best Lead Actress in a Drama for Odessa Young, Best Supporting Actress in a Drama for Heather Mitchell, and dual Best Supporting Actor nominations for Simon Baker and Thomas Weatherall.
The critically acclaimed adaptation of Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize-winning novel has already enjoyed significant awards success, winning nine AACTA Awards earlier this year, including acting honours for Elordi and Mitchell. Elordi also earned international recognition with a Golden Globe nomination for his performance.
Prime Video’s hit crime-comedy Deadloch Season 2 collected four nominations, including Best Scripted Comedy Program. Stars Kate Box and Madeleine Sami will compete in the Best Actress in a Comedy category, while Steve Bisley received a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy.
Rounding out Prime Video’s nominations is Top End Bub, which earned a nomination for Best Scripted Comedy Program. Created by Miranda Tapsell and Joshua Tyler, the series continues the story world established in the beloved film Top End Wedding and has been praised for its distinctly First Nations perspective.
“We’re incredibly proud to see The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Deadloch Season 2 and Top End Bub recognised with 11 TV WEEK Logie Award nominations,” said Sarah Christie, Head of Australian Originals at Amazon MGM Studios.
“It’s a testament to the exceptional Australian talent behind these productions and their ability to tell stories that entertain, challenge and connect with audiences. At Prime Video we are committed to championing distinctive local voices and bringing Australian stories to viewers both at home and around the world.”
Beyond Prime Video’s strong showing, this year’s nominations showcase the breadth of Australian television, with major contenders including The Survivors, Mystery Road: Origin, Dear Life, Heartbreak High, RFDS and The Twelve: Cape Rock Killer across the drama categories.
In scripted comedy, Prime Video’s Deadloch and Top End Bub will compete against ABC’s Austin and Dog Park, Disney+’s The Artful Dodger and BINGE’s Strife.
The entertainment categories again highlight Australia’s enduring appetite for reality and competition formats, with nominees including MasterChef Australia, LEGO Masters Australia, The Block, Big Brother, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Love Island.
Among the night’s most anticipated honours, the TV WEEK Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television will see Ally Langdon, Julia Morris, Lisa Millar, Poh Ling Yeow, Robert Irwin, Sam Pang and Todd Woodbridge competing for Australian television’s top prize.
The Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter features Amanda Keller, Hamish Blake, Julia Morris, Larry Emdur, Lisa Millar and Robert Irwin, while the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent includes emerging performers Eloise Hart, Lila McGuire and Rowan Witt alongside broadcaster Stuart Broad.
