Dr. Martens to open their first ever Australian retail store in Sydney

Veteran fashion brand Dr. Martens has always had a strong presence in Australia, but did you know they’ve never actually had a dedicated retail store? That’s all about to change come the turn of the month as the iconic brand long built on the ideals of individuality and self-expression will launch its very first Australian store in the very central Westfield Sydney.

Set to add greatly to Pitt Street Mall’s large variety of globally recognised fashion brands, Doc Martins will stock a wide array of the brand’s various iterations following their big launch party on 1st March, where they will be hosting Australian artist Maddy Young who will be customising shoes on the spot. The stock will include the largest range of men’s, women’s and kids’ styles available in Australia including Originals, Made in England, DM’s Lites, collaborations, vegan and accessories collections.

The Dr. Martens online Australian store will also go live on the same day, with the same stock as the retail store.

“Dr. Martens creates distinctive footwear built and adopted by generations of rebellious individuals not afraid to stand out from the crowd. We’ve come a long way from modest work-wear boots to one of the most culturally relevant brands of the modern era”, said David Dullens of Dr. Martens Australia. “The expansion into the Australian retail landscape means we can continue to speak to our consumers, through a pinnacle expression of the Dr. Martens brand, for years to come”.

When it launches on March 1st, the online store will be available HERE.
