Carriageworks gets new pop-up Spanish restaurant for Sydney Festival

multi-award winning chef, caterer, restaurateur and lecturer Darren Taylor is bringing a special pop-up restaurant to Carriageworks over the next few weeks, inspired by the buzzing energy of Sydney Festival. From tomorrow until 27th January, COSECHA will be bringing inspired Spanish dishes to the art institution, operating from lunch right through to dinner.

With Carriageworks currently hosting the brilliant Nick Cave – Until exhibition (which you’ve no doubt seen plastered all over Instagram) and numerous other shows for Sydney Festival, COSECHA should have quite the audience to please with their Spanish food and drink which will span salads, salsa, snacks, bocadillos, tapas, cheese and meat boards, and – by night – paella, mains, sweets and sangria.

We’re guessing the two separate paella filling stations will be some of the most popular orders during this run. Options include a seafood, chicken and chorizo paella for $18 with free-range chicken, calamari, prawns, mussels, roasted capsicum, herbs, lemon and spices, as well as a vegetarian paella for $16 with red pepper, chickpeas, tomatoes, green beans, garlic, spices and lemon.

Address: 245 Wilson St, Eveleigh NSW 2015
