Belle’s Hot Chicken to open at Barangaroo (Sydney)

We already know that the Barangaroo precinct will be home to Sydney’s Noma pop-up, but details are slowly starting to roll in of the other exciting venues looking to complete the development’s food element. Melbourne’s hugely sought-after Belle’s Hot Chicken will open at Barangaroo from November 19th, staying on at the harbour-side hub for 10 months before looking for a more permanent venue somewhere around the inner-west.

Belle’s Hot Chicken have been teasing Sydney with shorter pop-ups in recent times, all of which have attracted insanely long queues and introduced people, who may not already be aware, to the businesses acclaimed Southern American menu.

“”A lot of people try and do southern [American] cooking without having lived and worked there. Belle’s is a combination of a lot of places, Hattie B’s in Nashville, Gus’s Fried Chicken in Memphis and my time at Husk,” Belle’s Morgan McGlone told Good Food, reflecting on the massive success Belle’s has had in Melbourne.
