Track of the Day: Oh Wonder “Better Now” (2019)

UK duo Oh Wonder have dropped their latest single “Better Now” and it’s an absolute cracker!

Currently hard at work on their third album, Oh Wonder are regarded as one of Britain’s best kept secrets, with some 2 billion streams and over a million global record sales under their belt. Beginning as a musical friendship that’s morphed into a romantic relationship, Oh Wonder write, record, and produce in their custom built home studio, giving them an authentic indie edge that’s proving hard to resist.

Of “Better Now”, the follow-up to the acclaimed “Hallelujah“, band members Josephine and Anthony say:

“We wrote ‘Better Now’ after hearing the sad news of a family member going through an incredibly tough and emotional birth of their first child. The song reflects on what it must feel like to be in a waiting room, on the other side of the wall to your loved one–helplessly trying to navigate the unknown, but fiercely hopeful. We hope this song is a comfort blanket to anyone that needs it.”
