The Temper Trap announce Australian tour in support of new album

The Temper Trap will be returning to the live circuit around Australia this May for their intimate concert tour in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The tour is in support of their upcoming third album, the follow-up to 2012’s award-winning self-titled LP, the same project which gave us Aussie anthems “Trembling Hands” and “Need Your Love”.

With new single “Thick As Thieves” already doing the rounds with high rotation on numerous playlists, the Melbourne four-piece is keen to showcase new material which will undoubtedly be held to the same standard as hits “Sweet Disposition” and the aforementioned “Trembling Hands”>

Now with a huge profile that has them taking some of the world’s biggest music festivals, these three shows are a welcome opportunity to catch the band in a bit more of an intimate setting, with Sydney’s The Metro Theatre up first before the boys head down to Melbourne’s Forum Theatre, and then up to The Triffid in Brisbane.

Tickets going on sale Wednesday 23 March at 10 am (local time to venue).

Tour Dates:

Wed 4 May
Metro Theatre (18+)
Sydney, NSW

Thurs 5 May
Forum Theatre (18+)
Melbourne, VIC

Sat 7 May
The Triffid (18+)
