Almost in December! Some massive tours are just around the corner, not to mention ARIA Week is waiting in lieu for another year too. But before all that, let’s take a look at some of the killer shows the AU team is looking forward to this weekend.

Wave Racer – BRISBANE

Wave Racer brings the ‘Flash Drive Tour’ through to Oh Hello in Brisbane this weekend and it’s going to be a sick way to kick off a weekend in the Valley. Some great dance and electro music has been doled out by the young producer and it’s been great to see Wave Racer continue to develop his style.

Quite clearly one of the breakout talents of this year, JOY. and her upcoming show at Goodgod Small Club this Friday night is one that has much anticipation behind it. The girl’s been doing some excellent things recently – touring around the country, earning praise across many music publications and she’s been continuing to show us all that she’s not done yet.

British India – ADELAIDE

The fact that British India have continued to maintain a stronghold within the Australian music industry is excellent after so many years – a dynamic live touring act, the Melbourne band has formed a reputation as one of the country’s most loved rock bands on the road at the minute. They come back through Adelaide, this time hitting the stage at HQ on Friday night.

Jon Toogood – MELBOURNE

The Shihad frontman comes through to Melbourne’s iconic Cherry Bar for a special solo show. Performing some of his fave songs in acoustic mode, there’s definitely a wealth of material to fill up a huge two sets on a Sunday night.

The Getaway Plan – PERTH

The ‘Dark Horses Album Tour’ comes to the West Coast this weekend as The Getaway Plan take their popular live show to The Rosemount in Perth. Having toured successfully around the country through 2015, The Getaway Plan have more than proven their worth as a killer live act and we’ve enjoyed watching the lads do their thing with each date.

Pete Murray – SYDNEY

Pete’s ‘Yours, Acoustically’ tour comes to The Basement in Sydney this weekend, with the popular singer songwriter bringing his catalogue to life in a great surrounding. Murray has been performing in some of the country’s most gorgeous venues on this tour so far and The Basement is no different – performing in this vibe is going to be one not to be missing out on if you’re a fan of the man and his tunes.
