The Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival presented the Elana Stone Band at Marys Underground in Sydney last night. It was the first time in nearly a decade that the band played together, and a very-pregnant Elana Stone rolled out some favourites from the back catalogue. Many of the songs were off her sophomore album, Your Anniversary and was it was a treat to hear them again after a long absence.
The band was outstanding – Zoe Hauptmann on bass, Evan Mannell on drums and Aaron Flower on guitars.
The support was Inês – an incredible voice and was well received.
