Exclusive Single Premiere: Neo Stereo “Follow Me” (2026)

Neo

NSW pop-rock artist Neo Stereo returns this week with his new single “Follow Me”, and today we’re buzzing to be able to give you an exclusive first listen ahead of its release tomorrow, Friday 4th of September.

“Follow Me” captures a relationship somewhere between frustration and hope. A driving backbeat and insistent bassline give the track a real sense of urgency, pushing Cassius’ poignant lyrics forward as he wrestles with emotional fatigue, repetition and the need to feel truly seen.

There’s a weariness running through the verses, particularly as the same problems seem destined to play out again, but the song never gives itself over completely to resignation. Brighter moments break through, carrying the belief that tomorrow might be better and that there is still a path forward together. It’s this push and pull that gives “Follow Me” its emotional weight. Rather than presenting love as something effortless, Neo Stereo recognises the repetition, compromise and occasional exhaustion that can come with trying to make a relationship work.

As Neo Stereo explains:

“Follow Me is about the cycle of relationships from a rough start to knowing you’re in the right place. It shows us how relationships can be difficult but to make them work we must put effort into them and ultimately follow our feelings and our hearts.”

Neo Stereo is the project of Mark Cassius, formerly of indie rock outfit Transit Inc. Neo Stereo dropped his debut album Nightbird in 2023, and  a run of singles has followed, including the recent “Back For You”. He has been finessing his sound at the iconic Grove Studios on the Central Coast, with producer Jackson Barclay. So many great albums have emerged from Grove Studios in recent years.

Listen to our exclusive premiere of “Follow Me”, ahead of its release tomorrow.
