Music Video of the Day: Sans Parents “Can’t Stop Moving” (2016)

Sans Parents have followed up the well-received release of their pop-tastic tune “Can’t Stop Moving” with an accompanying music video, co-directed by band members Alex Bennison and Kane Mazlin.

Following the DIY method they’ve used in the past, the visuals for “Can’t Stop Moving” were captured on a 90’s camcorder in an effort to portray the brief of breaking monotonous routines of daily life, according to Bennison.

“It’s all about escaping the daily grind, breaking the cycle and coming to the realisation that life’s too short to be stuck in a ‘blah’ situation. It also deals with the theme of rebirth. It’s inspired in equal parts by the films: Falling Down, Office Space & Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Along with old episodes of Art Attack informing the look of the performance footage. It stars our mates David, Reb & Lily Rylands in their acting debuts.”

We’re excited to see where Sans Parents are set to head throughout this year, with a debut EP on its way and (hopefully) more tour dates bringing the Brisbane indie-pop group to more venues around the country. In the meantime, check out “Can’t Stop Moving” below!
