It’s been a long wait for new music by Grimes after her incredible 2012 release Visions. After releasing the single “Go” last year, she scrapped her entire album due to the reaction, making the album all the more anticipated. The newest release “Flesh Without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream”, written, produced and engineered by the mastermind Claire Boucher herself, is definitely taking a more pop-oriented approach, however is still undoubtedly in Grimes style, with intricate layered vocals and upbeat, danceable beats.
