We first came across NT singer songwriter Ben Evolent throughout the process of last year’s NT Song of the Year awards. Fusing reggae, blues and folk influences, he tells stories from the heart and couples them with undeniable melody and charm.
He’s been writing, performing and honing his craft since 2012 and the acclaim has continued to build. His single “Next Time” was recognised at the 2016 NT Song of the Year awards and now, Ben Evolent has released the film clip to accompany! A definitely Territory vibe permeates throughout the music video – familiar landscape for anyone who has ventured to that part of the country, but endearing to anyone who hasn’t.
