Modest Mouse lead latest Bluesfest artist announcement!

Bluesfest have continued to prove that they’re the festival that keeps on giving, today announcing their latest artist additions! 2016 is already going to be seeing the festival branch out and explore more genres outside the traditional blues and roots genre and this latest round of names is only a further testament to the fact that Bluesfest is cultivating an atmosphere that is and always will be, an event for many music fans to feel included in.

In its 27th year next year, Bluesfest will be welcoming the likes of Modest Mouse, Kamasi Washington, Graham Nash and more to the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm. Modest Mouse, who celebrated their return after some time away with their 2015 record Strangers to Ourselves, join a killer line up of indie rockers including The National and Cold War Kids, while Washington’s presence at Bluesfest is going to be one of the highlights of the 2016 festival, especially featured alongside Kendrick Lamar.

The rest of this latest announcement just fuels our excitement for Bluesfest 2016 and if you haven’t snatched your tickets yet, now is definitely the time to jump onboard. Head over to the Bluesfest website for all event ticketing and camping options still available!

Bluesfest will be running from March 24th through until March 28th, 2016.
