Launched from the current Global Top 10 Netflix hit series Building the Band, Midnight Til Morning is a four-piece group blending powerful vocals, emotional vulnerability, and undeniable charisma. On August 6th, they’ll officially launch their music career with anticipated debut single “Bye”, a soaring, bittersweet ballad marking the arrival of a new global music force.
Crafted alongside a world-class creative team, “Bye” was co-written by superstar Benson Boone, Amy Allen (who has penned hits for such artists as Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tate McRae), Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa), Elie Rizk (Benson Boone, Noah Cyrus), and the band members themselves. The track was produced by Rizk with Grammy-nominated JT Daly (K. Flay, PVRIS) whose cinematic, emotionally rich style sets the perfect tone for the band’s debut.
To soon follow the release, “Bye” will have a stunning music video directed by Josh Harris (Peach PRC, Go-Jo), known for his evocative storytelling and artful visual worlds. Set against moody lighting and emotional close-ups, the video captures the ache and release of goodbye, giving fans a powerful introduction to the band’s soul and style.
Since their formation, the group, which consists of Conor Smith from Central Coast, New South Wales, Mason Watts from Toowoomba, Queensland, Shane Appell from Upstate New York and Zach Newbould from Boston, Massachusetts, have seen explosive growth across TikTok, Instagram, and streaming platforms, with fans around the world rallying to their sound, story, and brotherhood.
