Kanye West releases new track “Real Friends” and previews a Kendrick Lamar collaboration

It’s looking like the rumours of Kanye West bringing back his “GOOD Fridays” series are true, meaning that the superstar rapper-producer will be putting out new material every week in the lead up to his forthcoming album SWISH, which is scheduled for a release on February 11th, 2016. This week, that new material comes in the form of one full song and one snippet, taped together in the same stream.

The full song is “Real Friends” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, produced by Kanye himself with samples by Frank Dukes and Boi-1da and drums from Mobb Deep’s Havoc. It’s a dusty, vintage sounding record with both Kanye and Ty bouncing off of each other with slow, measured rhymes. The stream ends with a snippet of “No More Parties in L.A”, a collaboration with Madlib and Kendrick Lamar.

You can listen to both tracks HERE or stream them below.
