Indigenous talent set to shine at this year’s National Folk Festival

This year’s National Folk Festival is set to highlight some great Indigenous talent as the festival celebrates its 52nd year in 2018. Held over the Easter break, the Canberra event will be coming to Exhibition Park with over 200 international and national acts set to perform.

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Yill Lull”, Joe Geia is set to be a feature performer of the National Folk Festival line up, while the First Peoples program also includes some incredible talent including NE Arnhem Land’s Dhapanbal Yunupingu, WA’s John BennettAlice SkyePeter SwainGina Williams and Guy Ghouse.
