Henry Wagons locked in as host of the 2017 South Australian Music Awards

Henry Wagons returns to Adelaide this November, this time to host the South Australian Music Awards! Announcing today, the muso and double j radio host will be manning proceedings on November 9th at Thebarton Theatre (or as it’s been newly developed, Thebby Lane).

“I’m really looking forward to a fantastic night, knitting together these 29 awards into one gargantuan celebration of South Australia’s finest!” he has said. “It’ll be a night of nights…bring it on!”

Tickets are also on sale for the 2017 SAM Awards; earlybird tickets now on sale for $60 (plus booking fees), which includes food and drinks. Get in quick though, these tickets are only on sale until September 1st, from there they’ll be increasing to $75.

The SAM Awards will be featuring five live performances this year as well as DJs and catered dinner and drinks in this new ‘venue within a venue’. Entering the theatre via the laneway entrance off Danby Street, the iconic Thebarton Theatre will be transformed into an intimate setting that has not been seen before.
