Four local SA legends you can catch at the Blenheim Music & Camping Festival!

Over this Easter long weekend, the annual Blenheim Music and Camping Festival returns to South Australia’s Clare Valley – what can you expect? Two days and nights of great music, tasty wines and some of the best food from the region (and city, of course). With all festival proceeds going to charity, heading to a music festival hasn’t been more enticing than this one – what more could you want?

While the visitors on the line up are indeed drawcards – The Black SeedsZ-Star DeltaMojo Juju, to name a few – there is a slew of local legends just waiting to strut their stuff at Blenheim this year, some of them listed below…

WEST THEBARTON

One of the hardest kicking bands on this year’s Blenheim Fest line up, the boys representing for the West have entered this year as one of the bands to watch elevate their sound and live presence to a higher level. Stomping through BIGSOUND 2017 and continuing to prove themselves as a formidable live act, West Thebarton are standing in their own spotlight and owning it completely.

Catch them on the Green Goat Stage come Thursday, March 29th at 11:05pm.

TIMBERWOLF

One of South Australia’s best and most exciting songwriters of the last five years has to be Chris Panousakis, aka Timberwolf. His debut album Íkaros was released to a strong reception and on the live front, Timberwolf has been continuing to thrive. He’s got one of the best live players in the local scene with him and their dynamic is almost tangible when it comes to their strength on stage.

Catch Timberwolf on the Hilltop Stage on Friday, March 30th at 5:05pm.

DONNARUMMA

A bright breakthrough act of 2017, DONNARUMMA have been crafting some great pieces of indie pop. Their latest single “Alien”, is gorgeous in its presentation and texture, a great insight into what’s still to come from this young Adelaide trio. They’ve been bringing the heat on the live front too, with successful shows at home (and on the east coast) positioning DONNARUMMA as a band to continue to keep a trained eye on as this year rolls out.

Catch them on the Green Goat Stage on Friday, March 30th at 2:45pm.

WANDERERS

They’ve been on the road constantly throughout 2017 and the opening months of this year and as their music has continued to thrive and develop in studio, Adelaide’s Wanderers have definitely found their groove and they are most definitely rocking with it. Long may it continue!

Catch them on the Hilltop Stage on Friday, March 30th at 2pm.
