Flume takes out Best Dance/Electronic Grammy ahead of new music coming this week

Australian EDM powerhouse Flume has just won big time in the US, taking out his first ever Grammy for his acclaimed album Skin. Winning the Best Dance/Electronic Album Grammy, Flume beat out the likes of Tycho and Jean-Michel Jarre to take the golden gramophone.

Timely is his win, as a brand new release from Flume in theSkin Companion EP II is due on Friday, February 17th. The EP (which you can preview below) will feature four unreleased tracks recorded during the production of his multi-award winning 2016 sophomore album.

After winning a total of eight ARIA Awards for his album last NovemberFlume recently took the highly coveted #1 spot on triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown with his single ‘Never Be Like You’ featuring Kai.

The new Skin Companion EP II will also be available for purchase on vinyl from May 5th.
