Caskets sell out Brisbane ahead of their Reflections Australia tour in May with exciting supports

Leeds, UK post-hardcore outfit Caskets have officially sold-out the Brisbane show of their Reflections Australia tour in May at The Brightside Outdoors. Supporting the band will be Seattle pop-rockers The Home Team in their Australian live debut, as well as Brisbane emo favourites Stepson and Melbourne alt-metal act Bad/Love. The seven-date tour will be kicking off on 10 May at Amplifier Bar in Perth before stopping at Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle and finally Brisbane.

Caskets recently made the trip Down Under as main support for Windwaker on their Love in the Dark tour in July last year and have since released their sophomore album Reflections in August, featuring the singles “Guiding Light” and “By the Sound”. They obviously resonated with Australian fans and made a bunch of new ones in the process, as Perth and Sydney are already down to their final tickets with the others selling fast.

Coming with them from across the globe are The Home Team, a melting pot of influences out of the USA’s north-west. Having toured with the likes of Don Broco, Senses Fail and Real Friends, they also supported The Used on their UK run last December. If that’s not enough to pique your interest then maybe you should catch them at a venue near you next month and decide for yourself!

SharpTone Records labelmates Stepson will also be hitting the road with Caskets in May to play some of their most beloved home venues. After their widely successful 2021 debut album Help Me, Help You, the band have returned stronger than ever with two new singles and a slew of live shows. If you like a cheeky mosh but also want to sing your heart out with friends, you won’t want to miss these local legends.

Last but not least, joining this already incredible lineup is the mighty Bad/Love. Blending metalcore brutality with pop sensibilities, they have just wrapped up a national tour supporting Atreyu in February. You may not be familiar with the name, but you’ll soon find out why they’ve managed to share the stage with the likes of Sleeping with Sirens and Like Moths to Flames.

The Reflections Australia tour is likely to sell out quick, so grab your tickets now and treat yourself to a night out with friends and your new favourite band in Caskets – who are also bringing some friends along for the ride. In the meantime, learn the words to the latest singles from these killer supports so you don’t get caught out when everyone else is chiming in!
