Exclusive Single Premiere: The Hiding “Dream Catcher’s Life” (2016)

For Melbourne electronic-pop group The Hiding, being away from loved ones and home recently did wonders for reasserting perspective and raising spirits upon their homecoming. In their new single “Dream Catcher’s Life”, the band looks forward and keeps the positive vibes pushing. For lyricist and guitarist Anthony Salce, the song was informed by the band’s trip to the States, New York City in particular.

“It’s really about living your dreams and not settling for mediocre; hoping you have that special someone who wants to share the journey with you.”

Produced by Ryan Ritchie, the single is rich in melody, with Salce’s vocal being reminiscent of that easy going, catchy John Mayer/Ben Harper style. Have a listen to “Dream Catcher’s Life” below and keep an eye out for The Hiding as we look ahead to the year’s end – some more goods are still on the horizon.
