Exclusive Single Premiere: Scarlet Kill “Nights Get Cold” (2018)

Emerging from studio spent with Stuart Stuart, Gold Coast pop rock trio Scarlet Kill come armed with a new single in “Nights Get Cold”, as well as some new tour dates to match.

Off the back of a successful EP release in She Draws the Heart Out of My Love back in 2016, the young group have been picking up the pace on the live front, supporting the likes of British India, I Set My Friends on Fire and Never Shout Never, while headlining shows of their own in Australia and Japan – plunging themselves into such a genre that is known for its passionate fanbases, it comes of little surprise to learn that Scarlet Kill have already amassed over 13k likes on social media to date.

With “Nights Get Cold”, the band expresses a bit of a sonic reinvention; the vocal swaps between brothers Will and Mitch Tyler bring solid harmonies and emo-punk strains, set against a tight bass and guitar driven musical framework. While Scarlet Kill have more developing to do as a band this year, this is a pretty good indicator of the type of act they’re setting themselves up to storm 2018 as.
