Exclusive Music Video Premiere: Jake Meadows “Good Company” (2016)

You may remember Jake Meadows‘ track “Echo of Tomorrow” that came out earlier this year; featuring Daniel Johns, the single was awash in gorgeous textures and sounds, blending in emotive arrangements with rhythmic pacing. Continuing on this vibe, Meadows brings us another snapshot from his recent time making music with Johns in the music video for “Good Company”.

For the Sydney multi-instrumentalist, inspiration for the song (and the rest of the material featured on his Good Company EP) came from travels abroad. Returning to Australia armed with the ideas, Meadows and Johns began to work on what would become the final result – a striking debut offering. For the title song’s music video, filming took place with Johns and Meadows both in LA, working on new material. Reflective and personal, “Good Company” invites you in and stirs with its instrumentation and haziness.

Meadows is playing a select run of shows through November and December – hit ‘play’ on the music video for “Good Company” below and check out where you can be seeing him perform!

November 3rd | Australian Music Week, Cronulla
November 11th | Waywards @ The Bank, Sydney
December 23rd | Grow Your Own, Forster
December 29th – 31st | Lost Paradise, Glenworth Valley
