Bon Iver to tour Australia in February 2023

Bon Iver

Justin Vernon‘s incredible debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago, under the Bon Iver moniker, scooped many album-of-the-year awards in 2008, and he has never looked back.

Exciting news has dropped today that Bon Iver will be returning to Australian shores next February and March. Personally, I’m super excited. I first saw them at the Sydney Opera House in 2012, and Bon Iver has been a must-see ever since.

They will be playing headline shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. They will also be performing at MONA FOMA in Hobart, Perth Festival and WOMADelaide. All the dates are below.

The band was slated to tour here a couple of years ago, but that was cancelled due to COVID, so this is the first opportunity in some time to see the band live in Australia since their VIVID shows in 2016.

This is certainly the first time to hear their fourth album, i,i, which was released in August 2019. If you want to see indie-folk at its finest, then grab yourself a ticket when they go on sale, tomorrow.
