Amy Shark to join Jaden Smith, Tinashe and more as Pandora announce their SXSW lineup

From Amy Shark to Jaden Smith, the seventh annual showcase lineup for Pandora at SXSW is looking like a mighty good time, with diversity spanning numerous styles and sounds including indie, pop, Latin, R&B, hip hop, Americana and country. Announced today, Pandora will once again take over The Gatsby in Austin, Texas for three days of live music, and seeing as past iterations of their long-standing presence at SXSW have introduced wider audiences to the likes of SZA and Troye Sivan, it’s a safe bet that some of the week’s most talked about performances will be coming straight from here.

This year’s Pandora lineup features artists and bands both new and established. As mentioned above, Australia’s hugely popular Amy Shark will be joining a stacked program made up of acts from all over the world. Significant buzz surrounds artists like Cali rapper Duckwrth and British singer-songwriter Jade Bird, which should be realised as they highlight their talents at what is still regarded as one of the biggest and most important showcase events in the music world. They’ll be taking the stage across the three days, alongside the likes of Dashboard Confessional, Tinashe, and country rock favourites Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real. You can check out the full lineup below, with more acts to be added as we pull in closer to the event.

“Entering the seventh year of Pandora at SXSW, the program has grown to a highly-anticipated musical showcase spotlighting the year’s hottest emerging talent on the verge of mainstream success”, offered Pandora’s Chief Marketing Officer Aimee Lapic. “We are excited to introduce Pandora listeners to this year’s diverse lineup of talent and continue connecting emerging artists with new fans during one of the largest live music showcases at South by Southwest Music Festival”.

As always, Pandora at SXSW will be one of the week’s largest activations, with day activities and performances open to local listeners from 12pm both at 720 East 6th Street, and inside The Gatsby from 2pm daily. The evening artist showcases will kick off at 8pm for those with SXSW credentials.

Also starting from today, listeners can tune into Pandora’s exclusive SXSW Festival station to RSVP to the free event.
