Allday shares new track from second album + announces national headline tour

This week Allday has taken a break from his usual Facebook banter to share a brand new single from his highly anticipated second album, as well headline tour dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane in July.

“In Motion” is the rapper’s favourite song from the new album Speeding, and features glowing, electronic production from Japanese Wallpaper. It’s a little dreamier than what we’re used to from Allday, focusing on an un-rushed flow over a dulcet pop beat.

The new album was recorded in Melbourne and the result of what happens when “a drug addled and depressed rapper starts listening to country music and Nick Cave”. It features a collection of collaborators who’ve worked with the rapper to find a sound that sits comfortably between rap writing and songwriting.

Allday will be joined by Japanese Wallpaper and Nicole Millar, as well as a special guest on the headliner tour. “In Motion” is the third track cut from Speeding, due for release on April 21st via ONETWO. You can pre-order it HERE and check out the tour dates below!
