ALEX CAMERON

Seekae frontman Alex Cameron will be releasing his debut album Jumping the Shark next month on Secretly Canada via Inertia Music. The album will be out on August 19th and has already spawned some excellent singles in “Take Care of Business”, “She’s Mine” and most recently, “The Comeback”.

SLOWLY SLOWLY

Melbourne’s Slowly Slowly will be releasing their debut LP Chamomile via Catch Release Records on July 26th, after an exclusive premiere of the album goes live on Monday, July 25th! After the success of singles “New York Paris” and “PMTWGR”, the duo bring forth a fully-fleshed out album of rock goodness easy to sink teeth into.

BRIGHT EYES

Engineered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering, Bright Eyes’ six albums have recently bee re-mastered in preparation for a very special re-release! The band will be reissuing the music as a special box set, available to purchase on vinyl and CD formats this September 16th. Individually, the records will be ready for purchase by November. The Studio Albums 2000 – 2011 includes remastered versions of the following Bright Eyes records: Fevers and Mirrors, LIFTED or The Story is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground, I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning, Digital Ash in a Digital Urn and Cassadaga. Also included in the box set is 2011’s The People’s Key.

ALEX WATTS

Melbourne’s Alex Watts will be releasing his debut album Another Step in the Dark through Astound Records on August 20th. Focusing on the evolution of a relationship, the dark and the light elements of it all the while blending in pop, soul and rock influences, Another Step in the Dark was recorded at Melbourne’s Soundpark Studio, with Watts working with some awesome local names.

NICK WATERHOUSE

Cali blues artist Nick Waterhouse is set to release this third studio record, Never Twice come September 30th on Innovative Leisure via Inertia Music. Now known for his fusion of old school R&B and soul with fresh rhythm influences, Waterhouse linked up with Michael McHugh once again to produce the record.

RAT BOY

UK artist Rat Boy has been building up to the release of his new EP, Get Over It, with the release of the EP’s title track! The EP itself is released next month, August 20th, via Ratbag Records/Warner. Get Over It will be released on 12” vinyl, and digitally, featuring a zine with Rat Boy’s hand-drawn storyboard for the tune’s accompanying video!
