Album News Weekly: 16th December 2015

In This Issue: The year is just about over, Summer is well and truly in and there’s probably a dozen festival timetables strewn across your room so why not add these new releases to your holiday playlist! Another short and sweet december issue sees some EPs and LPs from rock to accoustic.



Savages second album Adore Life is released Friday 22nd January 2016 via Matador Records / Remote Control Records with the blurb “It’s about change and the power to change”.


Kava Kings

Four piece gypsy ska band from Sydney, the Kava Kings are releasing their new EP No Time To Lose on December 20th featuring album artwork from Isabella Rose.



Cartel have announced Bare Essentials, an 11-track acoustic album featuring some of the band’s most well-known tracks due out December 21st.


Slow Buildings

New Jersey rock band Slow Buildings are following up their recent album with a new EP Weapons Against Me on January 11th reporting to be one of their darkest releases.

On January 22nd, Shearwater will release Jet Plane and Oxbow, their new full-length studio album through Sub Pop and Inertia. Take a listen to the track “Quiet Americans” here:
