Queens Of The Stone Age are back with their ninth studio album, Perfecth, arriving October 30 via Matador Records and the desert-rock heavyweights will bring their live show to Australia this December.
Perfecth sees Josh Homme and company continuing to push the boundaries of their own distinctive brand of dark, swaggering rock’n’roll. The album takes its title from Homme’s deliberately imperfect twist on the word “perfect”.
Recorded between New Orleans and Los Angeles, Perfecth is a nine-track collection that moves through love, lust, loss, foolishness and hard-earned wisdom. The album features the previously released “Easy Street”, alongside the new single “Insignificant Other”.

With Homme joined by Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore, Queens Of The Stone Age remain one of rock’s most formidable live acts. Australian audiences will get the first chance to hear Perfecth live when Queens Of The Stone Age return for an extensive run of shows in December, joined by legendary progressive-rock outsiders Primus and Australian art-punk provocateurs Tropical Fuck Storm.
