PAX Aus 2016 moves back a week, badges on sale now

It was only five weeks ago that we were all within the warm embrace of PAX Aus 2015. Badges for next year’s show have gone on sale today, along with the news that the show date will be pushed back a week so as not to conflict with the start of Melbourne’s Spring Carnival.

Early bird pricing on the tickets has been confirmed as the same as last year’s. Three day badges will run you $150, while single day passes will set you back $55. These prices will run until midnight December 24 after which they will revert to their regular pricing. You can head over and pick yours up right here.

The convention returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the third year in a row and will kick off on Friday November 4, 2016 and run until Sunday November 6.

The 2014 and 2015 conventions were held the first weekend in November, a date that coincided with the beginning of Melbourne’s huge Spring Carnival week. The clash saw attendees from interstate struggling to find reasonably priced flights and accommodation even months ahead of the show.

Hopefully moving the show back a week will help to alleviate some of these woes. We’ll find out for sure next November
