Microsoft produces one-millionth Xbox One Elite Controller

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has announced the production of the one millionth Xbox One Elite Controller this week. This is a pretty significant milestone considering how hard it was to find the AU$199 controller last year due to surprisingly high demand.
If you’d like to know what the controller looked like when it rolled, already customised, off the production line, here it is:

The controller has been available since October last year and offers a high-end version of the console’s existing inputs. The Elite controller also allows users to customise certain features like hot-swapping thumbsticks, trigger paddles, face buttons and d-pads.

A luxury controller also commands a luxury price point however: the Xbox One Elite Controller retails for AU$199 (compared to AU$74.99 for the standard version).
