Gamescom 2015: Xbox One version of Just Cause 3 includes Just Cause 2

If you plan to pick up Just Cause 3 on the Xbox One then good news! Your game will come with a copy of Just Cause 2. Microsoft made the announcement today at their Gamescom 2015 press brief.

Just Cause 2 came out back in 2010 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The copy included here will run on your Xbox One via the new Xbox 360 backwards compatibility feature.

The announcement follows a similar trend among designers this year. Bethesda are doing the same with the Xbox One version of Fallout 4, giving those who purchase it a copy of Fallout 3. It’s not clear at this stage whether the Just Cause 2 offer is just for those who pre-order or if it will ship with the game’s first print run.

They also debuted a new trailer this morning called “Burn It”, which is beautiful in its destruction. You can check it out above.
