Foxtel to broadcast Aussie FIFA 15 competition, PlayStation 4 National Premier League April 29

16 Australian gamers, celebrities and sporting legends will compete in a live game of FIFA 15, broadcast on FOX Sports from Melbourne’s Federation Square next week, Wednesday April 29.

The player list is comprised of nine winners from the Fox Fans League who survived qualifying heats at various Westfield shopping centres nationally, with each PS4 champ representing their favourite Hyundai A-League club in the final.

They won’t be alone however, with famous faces coming in to round out the total roster. Celebs include Gold Coast Suns captain Gary Ablett, Collingwood FC’s Scott Pendlebury, Channel V presenter Danny Clayton, Penrith Panthers five-eighth Jamie Soward and Australian FIFA 15 personality Sam Mort. Interestingly, of all the sporting names drafted to play their soccer game, not one of them actually plays soccer. They play football, yes, but not that kind of football.

The final wildcard spot will be decided the day before the match and you’ll be able to catch the game itself live on Fox Sports at 7pm EST.
