Given that they’re the home of id Software these days, there has been an expectation that Bethesda would announce a new entry in the Commander Keen series for some time now. That announcement has finally arrived, with Commander Keen headed to mobiles.

The new title, which sees Keen’s children Billy and Billie taking on the same alien interlopers as their father, is a free-to-play action title for mobiles that seeks to update id’s classic formula for modern audiences and combine it with a Saturday morning cartoon aesthetic. You can check out the trailer above.
No release date for this one yet but it’s coming to iOS and Android in the future.
