
D-Link has expanded its market once again, this time with the launch of a new mobile hotspot device aimed at consumers taking their internet on the go with them.
The new F518 5G Wi‑Fi 6 AX1800 Mobile Hotspot with an 8000mAh Battery covers a range of devices and internet needs, completely with its 5G/4G connectivity, which can provide up to 2.6 Gbps via 5G NR technology. As a bonus, it also provides users with support for OFDMA and MU-MIMO, as well as dual-band AX1800 Wi‑Fi 6 connectivity, with speeds of up to 1200Mbps via its 5GHz band and 574Mbps via its 2.4 GHz band.

The large 8000mAh battery provides up to 16 hours of use and can even double as a power bank for charging other devices like phones and tablets while travelling. It’s a handy device for business trips, family holidays, mobile work setups, events, temporary accommodation, or as a backup during home broadband outages.
The F518 also supports up to 16 connected devices, uses a Nano SIM for plug-and-play access, with WPA3 encryption and advanced firewall protection for added security, including a USB Type-C port and a WPS button for quick and secure connections.
