Mundi Mundi Bash 2027 tickets on sale with Jimmy Barnes headlining

Tickets for the next chapter of the Mundi Mundi Bash are now on sale. The iconic bush festival is held on the plains outside Silverton, near Broken Hill and will be held from 19-21 August 2027.

Legendary performer Jimmy Barnes will lead the charge and has some words to say about the event:

“The Mundi Mundi Bash is one of the greatest festivals on the planet.  For a start, you get to see some of the best artists Australia has produced, which is always great, and secondly, the location for this festival is like no other place in the world. It is absolutely breathtaking. Driving out to the site takes you through some of the most stunning scenery ever. I for one can’t wait to get out there and get my band rocking. See you all there.”

It’s the largest range of performers to date – just have a look at this line-up of Australian rock royalty: The Living End, The Cat Empire, Kate Ceberano, Ross Wilson, The Screaming Jets, Mental as Anything, The Rolling Stones Revue – featuring Adalita, Phil Jamieson, Tex Perkins and Tim Rogers, Mark Seymour, Pseudo Echo, Casey Barnes, Dragon, Furnace and the Fundamentals, 1927, VSPY VSPY, GANGgajang, 19-Twenty, Pierce Brothers, Sarah McLeod, The Chantoozies, Ella Hooper, Taxiride featuring Jason Singh, The Pigs, The Mundi Mundi Bash Band including Jak Housden, Dario Bortolin, Gordon Rhytmeister, Colin Coorie, Robyn Loau and Miranda Carey.

Where else can you get to camp out under the stars with your mates and see an incredible line-up of artists? Those that have braved the heat, mud and distance all agree that there is something special about the event that cannot be replicated. It’s a true labour of love for founder Greg Donovan. He describes the intangible magic of attending as a truly bonding experience.

The organisers say their events have already raised more than $1 million for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and hundreds of thousands of dollars for Beyond Blue. The sister event, the Birdsville Big Red Bash, will hold its final edition in 2027, leaving the Mundi Mundi Bash as the organisers’ sole outback festival from 2028.

While festival attendees can bring their own supplies – including BYO alcohol, a wide selection of food vendors will also be on-site, serving hot and cold food and non-alcoholic beverages. The best experience is getting some mates together and camping in a group around a bonfire.

The Mundi Mundi Bash is mostly accessed by road travel, with sealed roads right up to the festival site, however there are also regular flights and trains into Broken Hill.
