Good Things Festival is once again bringing us a massive celebration of alternative music this December, with the 2026 edition landing at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on Friday December4, Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday December 5 and Brisbane Showgrounds on Sunday December 6.
Headlined by Limp Bizkit, the lineup also features Simple Plan, Spiritbox, Bad Religion, ALEXISONFIRE, Bilmuri, Chad Gray, MXPX, Neck Deep and Voice of Baceprot– all of who have recently been announced as festival-exclusive acts.
But if one massive day of music isn’t enough for you, Good Things has just dropped a stack of sideshows, giving fans the chance to catch some of this year’s artists in much more intimate settings.
The All-American Rejects
TUESDAY 8 DECEMBER – NORTHCOTE THEATRE, MELBOURNE
After more than 17 years away from Australia, The All-American Rejects are finally heading back down under. This follows their cancelled slot at Good Things last year. The band will hit Northcote Theatre in Melbourne on December 8, bringing classics like Dirty Little Secret, Move Along and It Ends Tonight, alongside material from their new album Sandbox.
Millencolin
WEDNESDAY 2 DECEMBER – NORTHCOTE THEATRE, MELBOURNE
TUESDAY 8 DECEMBER – TIVOLI, BRISBANE
Swedish punk favourites Millencolin will perform their 2000 album Pennybridge Pioneers in full both at the festival and their sideshows. Catch them in Melbourne and Brisbane.
Bilmuri
TUESDAY 8 DECEMBER – MEOW NUI, WELLINGTON
WEDNESDAY 9 DECEMBER – POWERSTATION, AUCKLAND
Bilmuri‘s genre-bending mix of heavy riffs, alternative rock, emo and country has built him a seriously dedicated audience. Following his Australian national tour earlier this year, he’ll return for Good Things sideshows in Wellington and Auckland before hitting the festival.
Ministry
TUESDAY 8 DECEMBER – LIBERTY HALL, SYDNEY
THURSDAY 10 DECEMBER – HINDLEY STREET MUSIC HALL, ADELAIDE
Ministry are saying farewell to Australia with their final local performances, making this one for the industrial metal faithful. Al Jourgensen and co. will play Sydney’s Liberty Hall on December 8 and Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on December 10.
P.O.D. + Ocean Grove

TUESDAY 1 DECEMBER – THE GOV, ADELAIDE
P.O.D. are bringing their mix of nu metal, hip hop, reggae and rap rock back to Australia, with Aussies Ocean Grove joining them for the ride. The sideshows land in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.
The Devil Wears Prada + Future Palace
WEDNESDAY 2 DECEMBER – LION ARTS FACTORY, ADELAIDE

The Devil Wears Prada will bring two decades of heavy music to Adelaide and Brisbane, joined by Germany’s Future Palace.
All Them Witches
TUESDAY 1 DECEMBER – LION ARTS FACTORY, ADELAIDE
WEDNESDAY 2 DECEMBER – CORNER HOTEL, MELBOURNE
Nashville’s All Them Witches blend psychedelic rock, blues and heavy distortion into something that’s difficult to neatly pin down. After making their Australian debut earlier this year, they’ll return for shows at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel.
Kami Kehoe
WEDNESDAY 2 DECEMBER – OXFORD ART FACTORY, SYDNEY
Kami Kehoe has been making serious noise with her blend of hard rock, alternative, pop and electronic influences. She’ll bring her genre-bending sound to Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on December 2.

TUESDAY 8 DECEMBER – THE BRIGHTSIDE OUTDOORS, BRISBANE
WEDNESDAY 9 DECEMBER – CORNER HOTEL, MELBOURNE
Kehoe will also team up with pop-punk star LØLØ for shows in Brisbane and Melbourne. For LØLØ, the dates mark her Australian debut after touring with names including New Found Glory and Against The Current.

The Home Team are bringing their energetic mix of pop punk, metal, R&B and funk to Perth, Sydney and Melbourne. Their live show has become a big part of the band’s appeal, so this is one worth getting along to early.
House Of Protection
WEDNESDAY 9 DECEMBER – THE BRIGHTSIDE (OUTDOORS), BRISBANE
THURSDAY 10 DECEMBER – HOWLER, MELBOURNE
Featuring former The Chariot guitarist Stephen Harrison and Night Verses drummer Aric Improta, House Of Protection are pushing post-hardcore into stranger territory. They’ll play Brisbane and Melbourne this December.
IVRI
THURSDAY 3 DECEMBER – THE ESPY, MELBOURNE
IVRI‘s sound pulls from alternative, shoegaze, pop and rock, with a distinctly DIY edge. She’ll play The Espy in Melbourne on December 3.
The Black Queen

The Black Queen are returning to Australia to celebrate 10 years of their debut album Fever Daydream. Expect plenty of dark synths, industrial textures and 80s-inspired production at shows in Perth and Melbourne.

If fast, loud and straight-to-the-point hardcore is your thing, Missouri’s Locked Shut have you covered. They’ll hit Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney with a reputation for short, chaotic and seriously energetic sets.
Vianova
TUESDAY 8 DECEMBER – BURDEKIN, SYDNEY
WEDNESDAY 9 DECEMBER – NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB, MELBOURNE
Berlin-based Vianova have spent the past decade pushing their sound beyond straightforward metal, mixing metalcore with 80s influences, R&B and rap. They’ll play Sydney and Melbourne ahead of their Good Things appearance.
