2026 is flying by, which means Good Things is right around the corner. With the lineup looking likely to drop this coming Tuesday, after a few pushbacks, delays, and plenty of teasing from the Good Things crew, we’re predicting/manifesting that these artists might make the lineup.
Nickelback
If you’ve seen the new Good Things logo and aesthetic, it’s definitely giving Nickelback. With a new album on the way and no current tour dates announced, I reckon they’re a definite contender for a potential headline slot this year.
Creed
Pretty much for the same reasons as above, Creed feel like another strong possibility. They’re currently playing a handful of festivals in the US alongside a few other bands on this list, so I could definitely see them making the trip down under for Good Things.
3OH!3
3OH!3 are relevant again and currently releasing new music, which makes a return to Good Things feel pretty plausible. They were originally on the 2022 lineup but pulled out, and haven’t been back since. There’s been plenty of speculation that they could finally make their return this year, and I’m very much here for it.
The All-American Rejects
The All-American Rejects were set to play Good Things last year but had to pull out fairly last-minute. Stand Atlantic stepped in and absolutely stepped up despite the short notice, but with no make-up Australian dates announced since, we were hoping The All-American Rejects got another shot this year – and their music being featured on a recent promo for the festival seems to confirm this.
They’re also touring North America until November 7, leaving plenty of time for them to make their way back down under.
Trophy Eyes
I’m not really basing this one on anything apart from really, really wanting Trophy Eyes to be on the lineup. Something’s definitely brewing, and with no current tours announced, which is pretty rare, I can absolutely see Good Things being on the horizon for them.
My Chemical Romance
With a conveniently rescheduled tour of Asia wrapping up just before Good Things kicks off, this one feels pretty good. Would we prefer the full Black Parade tour experience? Sure, but we’ll take a Good Things headline slot if it’s up for grabs!
The Story So Far
The Story So Far haven’t played Australia since 2019, and they’re currently on tour until November 8. Their 2024 record, I Want To Disappear, was a top-five album for me personally, so I’m really hoping they finally make their way back.
No Pressure
If The Story So Far aren’t on the lineup, I’m throwing No Pressure into the mix as another possibility. They’ve just released their killer album NP Style, and I reckon they’d absolutely go off in a festival slot.
The Starting Line
The Starting Line recently released their their fourth studio album and are touring around the US until mid-November. With the timing lining up pretty nicely, it feels highly likely that they could make an appearance.
The Plot In You
The Plot In You are on tour until mid-October, so there’s no obvious clash there. They also released their self-titled record earlier this year, making a Good Things appearance feel like it could make a lot of sense.
Sleep Token
Surprisingly, Sleep Token have never played Good Things. They were last here in 2024 supporting Bring Me The Horizon, but they’ve blown up even more in the time since then. With their popularity skyrocketing, it only feels fitting for them to make their return, this time with a much bigger slot.
Simple Plan
This one feels very obvious, even though Simple Plan have been to Australia plenty of times recently. There’s currently a pretty sizeable gap in their touring schedule, with a December 1 show in Hong Kong and a December 19 show in Canada.
That leaves a suspiciously convenient window in the middle, and I reckon it could be a pretty massive hint at some potential Australian dates. During their tour supporting The Offspring last year, they promised to be regular visitors Down Under, and I for one wouldn’t be mad to see them back again so soon.
Hoobastank
Hoobastank are currently on tour until the end of September and recently released a new single. They also haven’t been to Australia since 2009, so they’re well overdue for a return.
With the timing lining up and new music on the table, Good Things could be the perfect excuse (or should that be… reason?) to finally bring them back down under.
